The following sermons are messages that I have been listening to since I was a teenager, and some are messages that I have recently heard. These messages have been encouraging in my christian experience and I pray that they will be to others as well.

The Most Precious Message
The following 8 messages have been a blessing to myself as well as to many other people. When I was about 12 years old, whenever I would ride with my Dad in his truck he would play sermons on his cassette player by a Lay-preacher named Tony Phillips. The things I heard didn't really make much sense to me, as I wasn't listening because I wanted too, but within about a year or so I asked my dad if I could borrow some of the cassettes that he was playing. I wanted to borrow one particular cassette because I remember hearing the speaker talk about not being afraid, and how perfect love casts out all fear. That particular topic was very real to me as I started working a summer job which consisted of me planting pine trees all throughout the forest. My boss would drive me down to the bottom of his 70 acres of land and drop me off with a spade to dig holes for the trees, ribbon to mark the trees, a supply of trees, my lunch box, and a bottle of water. At first being by myself in the middle of the forest wasn't too bad, a little spooky at times, but not too bad. But one day before my boss dropped me off in the middle of the forest, he stopped the quad and showed me something in the middle of the road, It was fresh bear droppings, which meant that their were bears around and there had also been sightings of mountain lions in the area. NOW I WAS AFRAID, petrified as I was left to dig holes and plant pine trees. After every pine tree that I planted I would pause and then listen quietly, as I thought I heard a bear or some sort of wild animal. I remember one time hearing a screech and then I heard something heavy climbing a tree. Needless to say I was very much looking forward to my boss coming back at 2:30pm to pick me up so I could go home.
But I knew that the very next day I would be in the same predicament planting trees among wild animals which I knew wanted to shred me to pieces. So I developed a plan, I was going to bring my stereo cassette player to work, and I was going to ask my dad if I could borrow the cassettes of those sermons he would play when I would ride with him in his truck. So the fearful work day came, but this time I had a plan. Before I started planting the trees I said a little prayer to God for deliverance, and then I turned the volume on my stereo as loud as it could go and I began planting pine trees. It seemed as though while I was planting pine trees God was planting seeds in my mind through those cassettes, and light bulbs and the aha moments began to happen as I was planting trees. Things I learned about God as a child began to make a whole lot more sense as the application became more real in my life. In short my plan worked, and I planted pine trees all throughout the forest that summer with no fear because I had learned that perfect love casts out all fear, and by listening to those cassettes I was learning more about the one, Jesus Christ, who has perfect love.
The plan that I had developed had worked, and at that time I didn't realize it, but now I'm understanding that God had a bigger plan in the making. The bigger plan was the plan to save Daniel. My father actually bought the 8 part series by Tony Phillips at a second hand store in Oroville, CA. We don't know how those cassettes got to that second hand store, but I'm very grateful they did. I have converted the cassette messages to mp3 and many other people have heard those cassette messages and have been blessed just as I was. Please listen to the series as I know after listening to the 8 part series your Christian experience will never be same again. It will be as water to a thirsty soul.
