How can I get involved?
Throughout the year multiple church's in North America will contact The Oak looking for a Gospel Worker, and throughout the year multiple Gospel workers will contact our ministry looking for a position at a church. One of the facets of The Oak ministry is being a facilitator for Gospel Workers and churches, and thus part of our mission is to connect Gospel Workers with churches.
A Gospel Worker position isn't a money maker position, it is not for the faint of heart, it is not a savings plan; it is a way of life. A Gospel Worker position is set up so that an individual who wants to do Gospel Work can do full time ministry without any worries of finances.
If you are interested in being a Gospel Worker or if you are a church looking for a Gospel worker please fill out the appropriate online application and one of the members of our ministry will contact you.

Testimonies from Past Gospel Workers
Seth - For 30 years I have made my own plans and gone my own way. It did not turn out right. For the last 2 years I have let go and let God. I can’t describe the peace I have because I know what I want to do with the rest of my life. It is no longer a question or concern for me. Ever since I went to AFCOE and we were doing our first Bible studies, I enjoyed living in the “bubble” of Christian life and living around others who were on fire for Christ. I realized that "bubble" was how God made us to be. It was not impossible or out of the ordinary. I realized total commitment is possible. I love working for the Oak and wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.
Zach- When I was younger I had trouble with feeling that I was worthy or useful at all. I read 1 Peter 2:9 and this verse helped me to see that I had a purpose. I don’t know what I want to do with the rest of my life but I know that I want to show forth the praises of God like the verse said and working for the Oak lets me do this.
John- I want to know Jesus more and nothing reveals Jesus to me more than seeing Him work in the lives of people that he puts in my life and in my path. It shows me the beauty and goodness of Christ and it is the goodness of Christ that makes me fall more in love with Him. I am in the ministry not only to share the truth but also to grow spiritually as well. I am so thankful I am here and how I am growing spiritually. I look at my past life and I can see the difference and just love living in Gods marvelous life. It has been a huge blessing in my life working for the Oak.
James- I was totally in darkness and it is by the mercy of God that I am alive and doing what I am doing right now. I want, by the grace of God, to show others that the truth will truly set them free. I want to share the love of Christ because God desires to save as many souls as we can get. He is not in the business of restricting souls; he is trying to save as many souls as he can.
Brian- Years ago, I grew up in an abusive home and looking back now I can see how God has been protecting me throughout my life. One day I realized that I needed to surrender my life and that same day I realized that to be a follower of Christ, I needed to share Christ. When you work for Christ it gives you so much happiness and joy. I have no desire to do anything else. I have a huge desire to do Christ’s work. The biggest proof of God is when you work for God you get to see what the Bible says actually working in front of your eyes. It is so powerful to watch God working in others' lives right in front of your eyes.
Dale- My intention is to be a pastor and I believe that this experience going into the field will help prepare me for that. It will help me be a pastor and help me reach out to my congregation and help me to be selfless and will help me to go and DO what God's will is for my life.
Raya- This experience is something you cannot get in any other work. It helps you grow. It helps you be a better person. I love how it is focused on the evangelistic work. I joined the Oak doing a canvassing program and it was a dream I had always wanted to do. I love how working at the Oak has helped shape my character and teach me more about God.
